Twentieth Anniversary of Support for Leyland DAF Trucks

The capabilities of Harnessflex as an innovative, responsive and flexible manufacturer of electrical conduit systems and fittings for commercial vehicles is highlighted by this year's 20th anniversary of supplying Leyland Daf Trucks.

Harnessflex has consistently supplied Leyland DAF with new conduit, fittings and connector solutions to meet the electrical protection needs of the company's evolving vehicle ranges that are sold throughout the world.

As a pioneer in vehicle wiring protection technology, Harnessflex originally designed conduit systems for Leyland Daf that allowed the company to dispense with less reliable PVC harness protection.  The result was a dramatic decrease in warranty claims and the increasing adaptation of Harnessflex technology to provide electrical wiring and cable protection throughout all Leyland Daf vehicles.

In the intervening years, Harnessflex has supplied the manufacturer with a wide range of customised conduit and connector solutions.  Working closely with Leyland DAF design engineers, these have included Y-pieces and T-pieces and many other components designed to provide critical wiring protection.
