New Compact Connector Conduit Backshell Shell for Off Road Vehicle Electrical Systems

High performance external connector backshells for commercial and off-road vehicle electrical wiring systems help to prevent abrasion, excessive cable strain and the ingress of water.    They provide excellent protection during high pressure wash-down cleaning and from the elements.

Harnessflex, a market leader in conduit systems and connector backshells, has now developed a new compact 90º elbow connector backshell for Deutsch – DT connectors.  In addition to its other benefits, it also allows the conduit to swivel around the connector housing and prevents problems such as overflexing due to movement or vibration.

The new C108-90-DT2 suits 7.5mm diameter conduit and is ideal for applications, including the JCB Scout, where there is limited engine space.  It is an addition to the range of connector backshells for Deutsch-DT connectors that are already available and provide IP40 protection, 120 N nominal pull off strength and operating parameters between -5º c and 120º c.  All connectors are manufactured from nylon polyamide 6-6.
