New Backshells for Tyco AMPSEAL 16

The Harnessflex range has been further extended with the introduction of low profile connector backshells designed for the Tyco AMPSEAL 16 range of automotive connectors.

Faults in electrical systems in the past have been traced back to the use of pressure washers in the cleaning down of vehicles and subsequent water ingress. This has led to connectors needing to be designed to meet higher specifications.
Harnessflex connector backshells help maintain system integrity during pressure washing and offer protection against cable strain and mechanical abrasion.

The new range has been designed for use with a low profile 90° elbow, to provide strain relief whilst allowing the backshells to be used in locations on a vehicle where space is at a premium. The range is available to suit both NC08 and NC12 conduit sizes and is available for both the plug (LP) and receptacle (LR) sides of the AMPSEAL 16 connectors.
